. and the fog is an issue. in an attempt to change. it wasn't foggy in some areas. when we got here at 4:30 and now the fog just moved around. let's take a look at the pictures we can see. this is highway 4. and the traffic does look pretty good. it is a little slow in antioch but you will see slow traffic as well on the way to concord. 680 is getting busier on the way to walnut creek. those metering lights have been switched on. this mornings drive on the peninsula 101 and 280 still look good. and parts of the coast mark tamayo my good weather buddy here will talk about the fog. right? >>> yeah. we've been partnering up by tracking the fog. it's tough to track especially when it's dark out there. it has been moving around out there. for today dense pockets of fog but warm numbers inland. tomorrow a little cooler in the weekend. a dry forecast with partly sunny skies. current temperatures are in the upper 30s to the 40s to around 50 degrees. downtown san francisco 46 degrees. we will talk about the fog now. it has been regrouping near the coast. this is the perfect flow to move on b

controversial changes in medicare if he wants a compromise. democrats have pushed a budget that calls for roughly $1 trillion in new tax revenue over ten years. it is expected to head to the senate next week. >>> two hours from now president obama will leave the white house and take his energy reform policy on the road. ktvu kyla campbell is in our washington, d.c. newsroom. we understand you just received new details on the president's energy plan. >> reporter: yeah, pam. president obama wants to set aside $2 billion over the next ten years to give the u.s. what he calls a secure energy future. the president leaves this morning for illinois and will speak at argon national laboratory which conducts research for the u.s. department of energy. in his $2 billion plan. president obama would fund more research. including advance vehicles that run on electricity. he says since he took office renewable electricity generation from wind, solar, and other sources hazardabled. the white house says oil imports are already at a 20- year low but they want to become even less dependent on foreign oil.

will change but right now it's a good start. 280 traffic looks good getting up to highway 17, let's go to steve. >> thank you, sal. our system is already into northwestern nevada and the tail end gave us some high clouds and low clouds and most of it is -- most of it is moved out and it will keep some clouds in. 30s and 40s and 50s, mainly 40 degrees and the breeze is no doubt about it, napa west at 7, and i guess you get the picture. predominantly it is a westerly breeze, 41 eureka, they were 21 yesterday at this time and that has brought temperatures up and it's just a cold, cold system, flurries town to atlanta, teens in oklahoma and it is just an unbelievably locked in pattern and we get these systems and that's exactly what has been going on. we have mix of sun and clouds, partly cloudy and then another system will come in friday and where it sets up we will play into our weather but a little bit of a shower and 50s and 60s on the temperatures and we are real close to are with we should be this time of year except slightly below near the coast. we cloud it up on friday with a sout
